We got our first look of Nike's "oversized experiment" in the form of the Nike Air Max Plus yesterday when photos surfaced on IG. Featuring most notably, an X large TN Air logo in place of where the iconic Nike swoosh would normally be.
Today more pix of this time Nike Air Max 90, also choosing to ditch the swoosh (all be it temporary) in favor of an oversized Air Max branding. Thanks to Japanese retailer atmos we got a look at the 2nd Air Max design featuring a plain white upper and midsole and contrasting oversized detailing underlying a classic “Infared” Air Max 90 colorway.
Dubbed the Nike Air Max 90 “NS GPX”, they will be available exclusively at atmos stores on October 28 for ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $130 USD). What do you think of the oversized logo look? In a time where brands like adidas are opting for a more minimal look do you think there will be more giant logos by Nike and if so will the look Take Flight? Comment below and give us your openion.
