Why The NFL Hates Shedeur Sanders And Brash Confident Players

So the 2025 NFL Draft went down last week, and the biggest story coming out is not any of the players drafted in the first round, it's why exactly Shedeur Sanders, son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, fell so far down in it. Prior to the draft, most analyst were projecting Shedeur to be drafted somewhere in round 1 if not first overall.

He was coming off 2 successful seasons where he helped lead a previously bottom of the barrel team in the Colorado Buffaloes into the national spotlight. With the help of his friend Travis Hunter, who was drafted number 2 overall by the way, they brought the Buffs out of obscurity and turned them into a team that everybody wanted to watch.

Ever since last week people have been pontificating on why they think Shedeur failed to be drafted until the 5th round, but I think I have a slightly different take that I haven't heard many people bring up, and today, we'll explore it a bit more. I'm Nate the Great from Takeflight214.com and this is the Dark Side of Football: Why Shedeur Sanders got done dirty in the draft.
